One off deep cleaning in Kingston upon Thames
A team job from £186, priced at £26 per cleaner per hour with a minimum of two cleaners for three hours, plus a £30 kit charge.
Top to bottom
Inside cupboards, behind appliances, above the door frames. The places a weekly clean never reaches.
A team, not one cleaner
Two to four people working together, which is why a whole house gets done in a day.
Short notice sometimes
Same week is usually fine. Same day depends entirely on whether a job has dropped out.

What a deep clean actually is
It is the clean that assumes nothing has been touched for a year. Cupboards come out, appliances get pulled forward, limescale comes off rather than being wiped around, and the tops of doors and the backs of radiators get done. A weekly cleaner does not do any of that, and should not be expected to, because there is no time in a three hour visit.
Descaling takes up more of a Kingston deep clean than people expect. The supply here is hard chalk water, so shower screens go cloudy, kettle elements fur up, and the dishwasher stops rinsing properly. All of that is a standing item on our list, included in the rate. In the riverside blocks the glass screens scale visibly within weeks of being installed, so a new flat can need it as much as an old one.
The other jobs we get called for are after-builders cleans and spring cleans in the bigger houses climbing towards Kingston Hill, where the Edwardian and interwar stock comes with deep cornices, picture rails and sash boxes full of forty years of dust. Those are the jobs where the six man-hour minimum stops being a minimum. If you are moving rather than staying, you probably want the end of tenancy clean instead, which is priced by bedrooms and comes with the re-clean guarantee.

Practical things worth knowing
Clear the surfaces
Every ornament we have to lift is a minute not spent cleaning. Boxing up beforehand genuinely saves you money.
Water and power
We need both. If the supply has been cut off in an empty property, tell us and we will bring water with us.
Time estimates
A two bed flat is usually six to eight man-hours. A four bed house with an oven and carpets is a full day for three people.
We will say no
Hoarded properties, biohazard work and anything needing a licensed waste carrier are outside what we do.
Deep clean questions
How much does a one off deep clean cost?
From £186, which is two cleaners for three hours at £26 each per hour plus the £30 kit charge. Every extra cleaner and every extra hour adds to it, so three cleaners for three hours is £264.
Is this the same as a regular cleaner?
No. Regular cleaning is a weekly or fortnightly retainer at £22 to £24 per cleaner per hour and covers upkeep. The deep clean is a one off team job at a higher rate with a much longer list.
How many cleaners will come?
Two as standard, three or four on a house. We cap it at four, because past that people start working round each other.
Do you work weekends?
Saturdays at the same rate. Sundays by arrangement, and usually not at short notice.
What notice do you need to cancel?
24 hours. Less than that and the crew has already been rostered and turned other work down.
Can you do it while we are at work?
Yes, with a key or a concierge collection. Most of our deep cleans happen in an empty house.
