End of tenancy cleaning in Thames Ditton KT7
From £156, and we know that KT7 is Elmbridge rather than a London borough, which changes the parking and very little else.
Thames Ditton is in Surrey, and that catches people out
The postcode says KT and the river says London, but the council is Elmbridge Borough Council and the county is Surrey. It matters at a move-out because the parking rules, the bulky waste collection and the recycling arrangements are all Elmbridge’s, not Kingston’s, and a tenant who has just moved down from Norbiton tends to assume otherwise. If you need anything left kerbside taken away, book it with Elmbridge and give it a week.
Much of the village sits inside two conservation areas, Thames Ditton and Giggs Hill Green, both designated on 31 July 1973 and extended twice since, most recently in October 2009. Practically that means a lot of small Victorian cottages with original sash windows, painted brick and old joinery, plus the occasional listed frontage. We keep aggressive chemicals off original paintwork and old glazing bars, use a neutral detergent on painted timber, and do not pressure wash anything.
Then there is the island. Thames Ditton Island is reached on foot over a footbridge, so every machine, hose and bucket goes across by hand and comes back the same way. It adds time and we price it accordingly. Tell us when you book. Away from the river, the houses towards Weston Green get considerably larger, which is where the three and four bedroom prices of £339 and £425 come in.
What we clean in Thames Ditton
End of tenancy
Cottage-sized one and two beds at £207 and £243, larger family houses at £339 and £425. What is covered is set out on the move-out page.
Carpets in older cottages
Solid floors and no ventilated void underneath mean slower drying, so we bring an air mover. Bedrooms £36, through lounge £61. See carpet prices.
Regular home cleaning
A settled, largely owner-occupied village, so most of our KT7 work is weekly or fortnightly rather than move-out. £22 and £24 per cleaner per hour, explained on the regular cleaning page.
Deep cleans
Spring cleans in period houses with deep cornices and sash boxes, from £186. More on the deep clean page.

Thames Ditton questions
Do you charge extra to come out to KT7?
No. Thames Ditton is priced the same as Kingston, and there is no travel charge. Only the island jobs carry an adjustment, because of the hand carry.
Can you work in a listed cottage?
Yes, with the usual care. Old paint, lime plaster and single glazing all want gentle chemistry and patience rather than the strongest product on the van.
